Web Design For Idiots

Just wanted to drop by today and wish everyone a HAPPY HAPPY Valentine’s day. Single, married, or other, you should go out and have a good time. LOVE comes from all places, so don’t feel down if you don’t have a boyfriend, girlfriend, husband or wife to share it with, because Valentines is about LOVE and there are lots of people in your life that LOVE you. Call your mom or dad, give your pooch or kitty a special treat, and watch a funny movie (stay away from the cheesy romantic/dramas though).

I also want to take this opportunity to point out the need for awesome graphics on your website. Not every one who has a blog is the best graphic designer, and although I love to design, I don’t always have the time. This is why it is important to have a nice arsenal of FREE or cheap graphics, photos, or design tools. CreateSk8 offers some amazing vector graphics and brushes FOR FREE! I suggest you bookmark this link and when you need to ad some flair to a design you are creating, head over and poke around.

So that is it for now. Go out and enjoy your day. I will be spending the beginning of my day with my dog and my mom’s dog (i’m dog sitting for her) down at the park letting them get all of their energy out. My husband is up at his nephew’s birthday party but I am waiting for my Valentine’s Day surprise (if there even is any)

Just a little update:
It is 9:45 eastern standard time and my husband has been home for 5 hours, and there has been no surprise. Seems as though there will be none this Valentines Day. I understand though, money is tight – but i do LOVE chocolate covered strawberries

Want to know who is offering this awesome content? Here it is! Someone who is relatively new to web design. I am new enough to still remember how absolutely frustrating it was to try and get anything done in this field, but have also been around long enough to be able to help those that are where I was a year ago. Aside from web design, I run the office of my dad's engineering business, and do book keeping by trade. I love my pets.. All 6 cats, 1 peg legged dogs, and 1 hedgehog. LOVE THEM!!
