I am a tad bit confused. Every day I come onto my blog and check the stats. One of the main things I look for the the key words people used to find me. See, if theres a keyword people use often, but I don’t have any REAL  inforamtion on that topic, instead I just mention it in passing, I will go further into detail.

So far, there has been VERY few, it no off topic searches. Every who searched for “connecting to filezilla” and “choosing a good host” and finally, “getting iweb website to the internet” has HOPEFULLY found exactly what I needed. I mean, all of my tutorials explain exactly those things. YET, no one really comments.

I’m assuming that its because my posts are tutorials and the best comment you can get is a “thanks” but a thanks would be really nice!

So I would just like to say that today, if I come across a tutorial on a blog, I will be posting SOME kind of comment to let the owner know I was there, I was happy, and I will come back for my info. I would hope that you readers will do the same.

I have been told by people who have reviewed my blog that I am a tad long winded in my explanations. I tend to agree, I mean, just LOOK at my OSCommerce Road Map Post.

Let me start by explaining my style of writing. I am not writing a tutorial like everyone else. If you wanted that, you could go to the oscommerce knowledge base, or your blogging system’s documentation. Why would you come here? The reason I write the way I do, and get long winded in some parts, but leave out information in other areas is simply because I add what I feel is pertinent to your “newbie knowledge” and leave out all of the intense stuff. At this point, you (if you are a newbie) do not need to know that and will just get overwhelmed. I DO however get long winded when I am explaining one thing, and realize that I need to explain a particular part in more detail just to give you some background and reasoning. I have found that people who end up getting into web design deeply are “nuts and bolts” types of people. They like the inner workings of things, and I will give you that information, if i feel its pertinent.

BUT, this is a new blog, and I am still finding my way, and my target audience (you newbies) so PLEASE feel free to contact me and complain or compliment me. I am literally here at your beck and call, and this blog WILL be as interactive as possible. It will not be one of those blogs where you read content about some faceless author.
